summary: Pennsylvania is well known as a source for high quality hardwood lumber. Some of the best black cherry, ash, and red oak are found in the state. What is it that makes a high quality tree or log? This webinar will discuss the characteristics that the wood products industry look for in trees and logs to make high quality products such as lumber and veneer, and how defects affect product quality.
