Presentation Summary:
An introduction to forest carbon management in Pennsylvania and how carbon offset markets work. An update on carbon programs in the eastern US. New research on landowner views about participating in carbon payment programs will also be presented.

Also see GIS systems on computers and mobile apps that forest landowners can use to assess different aspects of their forest land such as slope, vegetation coverage, historic land use, and how to plan and keep track of management with GIS systems.
